GSL has retrofitted our presses with the Baldwin IMPACT® 2E cloth systems, replacing the original brush system. This voluntarily environmental upgrade allows GSL to reduce its press solvent usage by 85%, and reduce press emissions by 90% of what they were.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) GSL Fine Lithographers is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The FSC label provides a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products. Click here to learn more.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) GSL isalso certified through the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. SFI chain-of-custody certification is an accounting system that tracks fiber content through production and manufacturing to the end product. This allows companies document with certainty how much of their product comes from certified lands, how much contains recycled content, and how much is non-certified/non-controversial forest content.
